Plastic Gear Materials
MC Nylon gears offer excellent wear resistance and impact strength with some self-lubricating properties. Duracon (POM) gears provide better dimensional stability and lower moisture absorption. Bakelite gears offer good electrical insulation and heat resistance for electrical applications.
